Cooper-Smith Scholarship Fund

Richard and Myra Smith donated the “Cooper-Smith Scholarship Fund” to Louisiana Tech University.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient(s) must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
2. The scholarship will be awarded to a student majoring in General Studies, History, Political Science, or Professional Aviation within the College of Liberal Arts.
3. Student must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in all official college courses.
   Preference will be given to a student with military background- i.e. someone who is currently or was previously enlisted in a military service branch or someone whose parent is or was enlisted in a military service branch.
