Alex Laney Endowed Scholarship

Robert Alex Laney donated the “Alex Laney Endowed Scholarship” to Louisiana Tech University for students enrolled in the graduate level Education curriculum.

Selection Criteria:

  1. The scholarship recipient(s) must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
  2. The scholarship recipient(s) shall be a student enrolled in a graduate level Education curriculum.
  3. The scholarship recipient(s) shall have a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience in the Social Studies or English areas.
  4. Student must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA as an average on all official college master’s course work.
