Bettye and Aylon Pate Endowed Human Ecology Scholarship

PURPOSE AND CRITERIA
To provide support for Human Ecology Students at LA Tech enrolled in Human Development and Family Science or Nutrition and Dietetics. The Scholarship will be open to all applicants subject to the following criteria:
A. Must be enrolled as a full-time student majoring in Human Development and Family Science or Nutrition and Dietetics.
B. First preference for students from Jackson Parish
C. Second preference for students from Bienville, Claiborne, and Winn Parishes.
D. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in all official college courses.

SELECTION AND DISBURSEMENT
The scholarship recipients shall be chosen by the Department of Human Ecology. The scholarship will be awarded for one academic year and the award will be disbursed quarterly to the student’s university financial account. Recipients are eligible to be considered to receive the scholarship in future years as long as they meet criteria.
