W.A. Burt Bond Endowment

In 1980, the Louisiana Tech Alumni Foundation was named as the secondary beneficiary of the James C. Burt Trust, the Deposit Guaranty National Bank of Jackson, Mississippi, Trustee.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Shall be used for scholarships only.
  2. Shall be restricted to graduates of the Simsboro High School.
  3. Student should have ambition, ability, need, and such graduates who qualify, shall be recommended by faculty of the Simsboro High School and approved by members of the School Board.
