Mary Alice Turbeville Erskine Endowed Scholarship

George Leroy Erskine , Jr., established the “Mary Alice Turbeville Erskine Endowed Scholarship” for and in consideration of the educational work being carried on by Louisiana Tech University in the Sigma Kappa Sorority or studying Human Ecology.

Selection Criteria:

#Recipient must be an initiated member of Sigma Kappa Sorority OR studying Human Ecology.

First preference will be woman who has attained and shall maintain at least a 3.0 academic GPA and shall exemplify the highest ideals of Sigma Kappa Sorority.
Second preference for the award shall be a woman majoring in Human Ecology who has a 2.5 grade point average or above, who exhibits high moral principles and who will be entering the teaching profession.
