Guy T. & Nancy P. Dowell Endowed Scholarship

PURPOSE AND CRITERIA
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide support for students in the College of Business at Louisiana Tech University. The scholarship will be open to all applicants subject to the following criteria:

A. Must be enrolled as a full-time student in the College of Business.
B. Preference for students who meet the criteria for First-Generation Scholarships (students working to become the first in their family to graduate from college), Ever Loyal Scholarships (students with qualities that do not show up in test scores: outstanding work ethic, loyalty, leadership, and a heart for service), and Retention Scholarships (helping students overcome unexpected obstacles such as family medical crisis or financial crisis).
C. Preference for students from Arkansas and Louisiana.

SELECTION AND DISBURSEMENT
The scholarship recipients shall be chosen by the scholarship committee of the College of Business.
The scholarships may be given as four-year awards or as one-year awards that may be renewable. The scholarship will be disbursed quarterly to the student’s university financial account.
