Amos Lee and Corrie E. Armstrong Endowment Scholarship

Don Kennedy served as Executor for his cousin Corrie E. Armstrong and was involved in establishing the “Amos Lee and Corrie E. Armstrong Scholarship Endowment” for Louisiana Tech University. Corrie held an interest in supporting a graduate of Farmerville High School with preference with students studying in education or medicine. If a year does not have enough candidates studying in education or medicine, the scholarship can be awarded to students pursuing degrees in other academic years.

First preference to students from Union Parish High School in the upper 20% of their graduating class intending to major in Education or Medicine

Applicants should be nominated by three Union Parish High School faculty member.
