Patsy Hagood Perritt First-Generation Endowed Scholarship in the College of Education
PURPOSE AND CRITERIA
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide support for a first-generation student in the College of Education. The scholarship will be open to all applicants subject to the following criteria:
A. Student must be a “first-generation college student,” i.e., neither parent nor guardian(s) have earned a college degree.

B. The scholarship must be awarded to a student within the College of Education in the Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Leadership.
C. To be eligible to receive the scholarship, the student must have a minimum 2.5 high school GPA and 22 ACT score.
D. Thereafter the student must maintain a 2.75 GPA for the academic year.
