Mary Ross Higginbotham Endowment and Scholarship Fund

Fred Higginbotham donated the “Mary Ross Higginbotham Endowment and Scholarship Fund” to Louisiana Tech University for students in the College of Education.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient(s) will be chosen from the College of Education and must be a Junior or Senior in the Library Science, English or Social Studies field.
2. The same student may receive the scholarship continuously from Junior year and Senior year.
3. The scholarship recipient(s) must have a college GPA of 2.5 and a minimum ACT score of 21.
4. The scholarship recipient(s) must maintain a 2.5 GPA from quarter to quarter to retain the scholarship.
5. The scholarship recipient(s) must possess strong interpersonal skills as evidence by participation in high school organizations and activities.
6. The scholarship recipient(s) must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University in the College of Education.
