LNB Jackie Woodard Whitlock Memorial Scholarship

PURPOSE AND CRITERIA
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide support for an undergraduate student in the College of Education. The scholarship will be open to all applicants subject to the following criteria:
A. Preference for an incoming freshman enrolled as a full-time student majoring in secondary social studies education.
B. Must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 for initial award as incoming freshmen and maintain at least a minimum cumulative university GPA of 3.0 per academic year to retain eligibility.
C. Preference shall be given to a student who graduated from a high school located in Lincoln Parish, Union Parish, Bienville Parish, Ouachita Parish, or East Baton Rouge Parish.
