Dauzat Endowment Scholarship

Dr. Samuel Varner Dauzat and Dr. Jo Ann V. Dauzat donated the “Dauzat Endowment” to Louisiana Tech University. The purpose of this scholarship is to promote literacy endeavors.

Selection Criteria:

1. Scholarship may be granted to teacher preparation candidates in kindergarten, elementary grades, and secondary grades with majors in English/Language Arts.
2. Assistantship grants may support graduate students preparing for roles in language arts teaching and/or who may be assigned to provide services to the Reading Clinic.
3. Applications for grants must be submitted to the Office of the Dean by the published dates.
