Ann Marilyn Melton Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Sue Melton donated the “Ann Marilyn Melton Memorial Endowed Scholarship” to Louisiana Tech University for students in the College of Education.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient(s) must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
2. The scholarship recipient must be majoring in education and following the curriculum toward grades 4-8 certification or grades 6-12 certification. In addition, the recipient must show great promise for the teaching profession.
3. The scholarship shall be given to a student with junior or senior level standing.
4. The scholarship recipient must maintain at least a minimum 3.0 GPA in all official college courses.
