Mary Alice Posey Garrett Endowed Scholarship in English

Patrick P. Garrett and Loyce Garrett Miller donated the “Mary Alice Posey Garrett Endowed Scholarship in English” for student majoring in English at Louisiana Tech University.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient(s) must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
2. Student must maintain an overall 3.0 GPA on all official college course work.
3. Curriculum with intentions to be a classroom instructor of English
4. Selection Committee must consist of Dr. Pat Garrett, Loyce Garrett Miller, and the Department head for English
