Hilburn Memorial Endowed Scholarship

Donald R. Hilburn established the “Hilburn Memorial Endowed Scholarship” at Louisiana Tech University.

Selection Criteria:

1. Recipient must be majoring in a curriculum within the College of Engineering and Science.
2. Recipient must be a graduate of a school in Webster Parish.
3. Recipient must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0.
4. Recipient must have a minimum ACT score of 25.
5. Recipient must be in the top 10% or top 5% of their high school graduating class.
6. Recipient must be a legal resident of the State of Louisiana.
7. Recipient, if already enrolled at Tech, must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for their first quarter, a minimum GPA of 3.0 for subsequent quarters, and a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
8. The recipient must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.

1st preference to a student who graduated from Cotton Valley High School.
2nd preference to a student who graduated from Webster Parish High School.
