Arthur J. Wilson, III National Defense Scholarship in Engineering

Gina Wilson donated the “Arthur J. Wilson III, National Defense Scholarship in Engineering” to Louisiana Tech University to assist students in paying for tuition, laboratory fees, books, dorm fees, cafeteria fees, and any equipment necessary for engineering studies.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for each quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
2. The scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA in all official college courses.

First preference in awarding the scholarship will be to a mechanical engineering student who has served or is serving in any military branch.
Second preference will be a student majoring in mechanical engineering who is a member of the ROTC.
Third preference will be a student majoring in mechanical engineering who has worked or is working for a defense contractor.
