John D. Winters Endowed Award in Theatre

Frances L. Winters donated the “John D. Winters Endowed Award in Theatre” to students in the Theatre major at Louisiana Tech University.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient(s) must be a Theatre major and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
2. The recipient of this award must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in their Theatre major and an overall GPA of 2.5 in all official college courses.
3. The Award shall be granted annually during the month of May and shall be presented to a Theatre major who has demonstrated exceptional talent in their area of specialty
4. The Award is not intended to assist the recipient(s) in paying any college education costs which would otherwise be paid to Louisiana Tech University by the student
