Perritt Family First-Generation Endowment in COES

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide support for a first-generation student in the College of Engineering and Science. The scholarship will be open to all applicants subject to the following criteria:
A. The student must be a “first-generation” college student, i.e. neither parent, nor guardians
B. The scholarship must be awarded to a student in the College of Engineering and Science’
C. To be eligible to receive the scholarship, the student must have a minimum 2.5 high school GPA and 22 ACT score.
D. Thereafter, the student must maintain a 2.75 GPA for the academic year.

The scholarship recipient shall be chosen by the scholarship committee of the College of Engineering and Science. The scholarship will be awarded for four academic years and the award will be disbursed quarterly to the students university financial account provided that all applicable criteria are met.
