Mary Beth Thiels Theatre Award

Pete and Kay Theils donated the “Mary Beth Thiels Theatre Award” to students at Louisiana Tech University majoring in theatre.

Selection Criteria:

1. The scholarship recipient(s) must be registered and remain registered as a full-time student for the quarter in which he/she receives the scholarship at Louisiana Tech University.
2. The scholarship recipient must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA in all official college courses.
3. First preference is to a graduate student and shall act as a graduate assistantship or fellowship award. Second preference is to a junior or senior theatre major.
4. The scholarship shall be intended to assist the recipient(s) in paying any college education cost that would otherwise be paid to Louisiana Tech University.
