Causey-Tanner Education Endowment Scholarship

Mrs. Annie Tanner and Mr. Hartford Causey have been supporters of Louisiana Tech University for many years. Mrs. Tanner and Mr. Causey are both graduates of Louisiana Tech University. A graduate of the College of Education, Mrs. Tanner taught business education at Bernice High School prior to her retirement. Mr. Causey, a successful businessman, is a former Louisiana Tech University athlete who received a degree in agriculture/science.

Selection Criteria:

1. The recipient(s) shall pursue a teacher preparation program.
2. The recipient(s) shall demonstrate a commitment to the teaching profession.
3. The recipient(s) shall demonstrate a need for financial assistance in order to obtain an education at Louisiana Tech University.
4. The recipient(s) shall be selected in the spring quarter preceding the effective date of the scholarship.
