Shirley Martin Weaver Christian Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide support for Christian students at Louisiana Tech University. The scholarship will be open to all applicants and subject to the following criteria and preferences to the extent allowed by law and consistent with the policies of Louisiana Tech University and the University of Louisiana System.

A. Must be enrolled as a full-time student in any academic curriculum.
B. Must be a citizen of the United States.
C. Must be an incoming sophomore or above or graduate student.
D. Preference for students that are involved in a Christian student organization or local Christian ministry. Once a student is selected to be the recipient, the award is contingent on the recipient providing a letter from a pastor or staff/volunteer member of the organization confirming their participation.
E. Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA in all official college courses.
